This Veterans Day, let’s come together to honor the extraordinary service and sacrifices of our local heroes. We invite our community to join in heartfelt celebrations that shine a light on our Veterans’ dedication and bravery.
Sunday, November 10: The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #99 is hosting a Veterans Day Luncheon for local Veterans—free of charge! Join us at the American Legion E.L.A. Post 99 (Back Hall, 2502 E Kenedy Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363) from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Let’s show our gratitude with food, friendship, and appreciation.
Monday, November 11: Multiple events are scheduled to honor Veterans throughout the day:
- Drive-Thru Goodie Bags: Harrel Elementary (925 W Johnston Ave), Harvey Elementary (1301 E Kenedy Ave), and Perez Elementary (1111 E Ailsie Ave) will distribute goodie bags from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
- Luncheon Ceremony at Texas A&M University-Kingsville: Join us at the Memorial Student Union Building, Ballroom A, at 11:00 a.m. for a special gathering, featuring Colonel Shane Cuellar.
- Luncheon at H. M. King Early College High School (2210 Brahma Blvd) from 12:00-1:30 p.m. (ID required for entry at the North Gate)
- Kingsville Veterans Day Parade: The community parade begins at 6:00 p.m. with the line-up at 5:00 p.m. on E. Kleberg Ave. Join us downtown to cheer on our heroes!
Tuesday, November 12: Kingsville ISD CARE ACADEMY will be serving breakfast tacos to Veterans at 900 North 6th St, Kingsville, TX—a delicious start to the day to keep the celebrations going.
